The chauffeur was great. He was courteous, efficient, polite and knowledgeable. Instead of taking us to the hotel by the route we expected based on our map, he knew a shortcut. We were able to beat our estimated arrival time by 45 minutes, which gave us a little more time to freshen up and get unpacked. Our driver was ready for us when we were ready to hit the town. Our driver through Allen Limo not only recommend several great restaurants for us to grab some Texas barbecue, but he ranked the restaurants in two categories: by the quality of the food and then by the cost. This helped us make an informed decision that we otherwise wouldn’t have been able to make. He saved us from going to some real dives that night, too. Our driver was from the area and he knew all the hot spots, the various types of clothing required for each place, the costs to get in and the type of venue at each place. Since our knowledge of the city was limited, it was great having a driver who knew his way around, and offered us sage advice about which places to avoid. A couple places that we originally thought sounded pretty good based on online reviews lost a little luster based on our driver’s feedback. And some other places that we hadn’t even considered turned out to be pretty cool. We had so much fun that night that we ended up getting back to the hotel at about 5 a.m. Then our Allen Limo chauffeur suggested a great breakfast place.
