First Dates by Limo: Top Dallas Nightspots

Dallas is such a diverse city … while the major drawcard might be the Cowboys, you won’t usually get far with a lady if that is your first date idea! First dates with a Dallas limo as the transport for the evening are the ultimate in romance. Today we are checking out some venues that can match that romance, from restaurants to cinemas to traditional theatre plays.
This place does beautiful Italian food with jazz and blues to wash it down. It is reasonably priced and very romantic - if you’re taking out a very unpretentious girl, this will be a lovely evening out by Dallas limo.
This is mostly a hotel, but it might be a bit presumptuous to rent a room for a first date! Travel by limo to the Sanford House and enjoy a day spa experience together - massages, scrubs and manicures at the Sanford house.
Delicious pizza, open late, live music, great prices … a Dallas first date that could quite easily become the favorite haunt of a new couple!
Movies are still a lovely, romantic idea for a first date, especially when the venue is so quiet an anti-commercial as the Regent Theater. The Regent is described as cute, comfortable and intimate … the perfect layover in between romantic Dallas limo trips.
Yum … if one of you is a wine connoisseur, Swirll is a wonderful place to visit for your first date. It is on the pricier end of the scale compared to grabbing pizza or a meal at Terilli's, but the delicious drinks are well worth it. The candles and fireplace mean that there are often marriage proposals going on at Swirll. You may be a little way away from that sort of thing … but you can imagine it has a lovely atmosphere for couples anyway!
Seeing Shakespeare under the stars is an amazing experience … even if you have absolutely no idea what they are saying! A Dallas limo is the perfect way to get to this first date … you can save on the date, and splurge on your transport.

Top Spots for DIY Dallas Shopping Tours

Dallas has more shopping centers per capita than any other city in the US, and was once home to the only covered shopping mall in the country. Dallas IS shopping! Whether you live in the city or are just visiting, a girl's day out on a self-guided shopping tour of Dallas can be a great bonding exercise … and a great way to pick up some awesome pieces. The best way to get from place to place is not by taxi, and not by public transport - Dallas limousine hire makes shopping tours fun and much simpler. We look at some of the must-visit shopping spots for a limo shopping tour.

1. Neiman Marcus
The home of Neiman Marcus is in Dallas, and this is still the highest grossing of all the Neiman's stores in the country. This is the Dallas Saks Fifth Avenue - you can’t go past it for a shopping-by-limo trip with the girls.
2. Northpark Center
You'll definitely need your limo parked out the front when you come out of Northpark Center … with Bulgari, Gucci, Vans, Gregory's Louis Vuitton and Swag, you'll find a heap of showpieces and great quality basics here.
3. Highland Park Village
This shopping center was opened in 1931, and was the first shopping center in America. It survived despite the war starting soon after its appearance, and thrived. Go shopping in a National Historic Landmark - you won’t have many other opportunities!
4. West Village
Get your Dallas limo tour to stop at West Village near lunch or dinner time - this shopping center has plenty of fine dining and nightlife, as well as theatre to take in. The area is filled with classic American architecture and tree-lined streets - gorgeous and refreshing.
5. Mockingbird Station
This is a residential area as well as a shopping center, and there is a very relaxed atmosphere here. If you don't want to be stuck carrying bags around big blocks, going from faraway shop to faraway shop, a Dallas limo is the perfect solution.

You'll find the same thing the world over -- in cities where it is hot by day, everyone comes out to party at night, with the sweet relief of darkness! 1. Thrive Nightclub
This is a very new place, and yet to establish a solid clientele and atmosphere -- everybody that comes has the opportunity to make this place their own. The ceiling is made from a polyester blend that ripples along with the bass in the music -- awesome!
2. The Granada Theater Dallas
Okay, this probably isn’t a place that you would go to for warm-up drinks, cool-down drinks, or even-in between drinks while club hopping. Granada Theater hosts some awesome shows, and has a full bar in the house -- and you'll definitely want a Dallas limo to pick you up and drop you off to make the most of your night!
3. Round Up Saloon
This bar has a heated patio for smokers, and as a gay bar, is welcoming for all types of people, including those with no romantic interest in any of the other patrons! The music is by DJ, and even Sunday nights at the Round Up Saloon are jumping. There is said to be "an array of lovable fashion disasters" ... a not-to-be-missed part of modern Dallas culture.
4. Lee Harvey's
Lee Harvey's is a dive bar that is busy, well-established, and consistently sends people away with a big, half-drunken grin on their faces! The venue has a real genuine, friendly feel -- there is free bug repellent at the bar for outside drinkers, and the staff have been known to provide blankets for cold days, as well as starting the fire pits. You can even bring your dog ... as long as she's allowed in your Dallas limo as well.
5. Times Ten Cellars
Of course, if you feel a little uncomfortable going to a dive bar in a Dallas limo, then Times Ten Cellars will be a better choice for your club-crawling expeditions. This wine bar is attached to cellars, so if you have a great drink you can grab a little extra to bring home. It is unpretentious, mid-priced, and said to be great for enjoying an adults-only happy hour.

Save on Activities, Splurge on Dallas Limos! Free Things to Do in Dallas

Most people go about having fun on their holidays completely backwards -- choosing the expensive activities day to day, and then making up the shortfall in their budget by choosing public transport. When you’re in a strange city, and especially if you’re with children, this can be extremely stressful! If you're on your way to Dallas for a vacation and want it to be relaxing (for a change!), book yourself a Dallas limo for transport, and enjoy some of the city's best FREE activities!
1. The Super Model Train
Children of all ages, from 8 to 60, will enjoy the Super Model Train! This is the country's largest permanent model train display, located at the Children's Medical Center of Dallas.
2. Fantasy Landing
This is a special project of the Parks and Recreastion Department -- the Dallas public administrastion is responsible for over 17,000 acres of greenbelt land, and this is a small part of it. It allows disabled children to enjoy the facilities as much as their able-bodied counterparts -- if you have children, it teaches them that everybody is different, and that tolerance is a beautiful thing.
3. Crow Collection of Asian Art
Along with the Spanish collection, Dallas also has an enormous collection of Asian Art. This includes pieces from China, Japan, India and other small Southeast Asian countries.
4. Gallery of Sports Art
Take your Dallas limo over to Arlington to see the Gallery of Sports Art, featuring limited edition original lithographs, bronze statues and original artworks related to sport.
5. Dallas Nature Center
No matter where you are staying in the city, the Dallas Nature Center is likely to be close to your Dallas limousine company's headquarters - you may be able to save on fares! The center includes hiking trails, native-plant nurseries, a picnic area and a visitors center. It incorporates 633 acres of preserved wilderness only a short trip from Downtown.
6. The Hand Exhibit
Sounds odd - but once you are there, this collection of more than 100 bronze cast hands of real life people is fascinating! Louis Armstrong, Winston Churchill, Katharine Hepburn and Walt Disney's handcasts reside here.
A Dallas limo can really help organize your trip, quiet your kids, and give you some much needed peace on vacations… and with free activities you don't need to sacrifice getting out and about!

3 Factors That Impact Dallas Limo Rates

The next time you need Dallas limousine service, you may be surprised by the difference in rates charged. We'd like to clear up some of the confusion. Let's take a closer look at the three factors that might influence how Dallas limo rental rates are calculated.

Size of Vehicle: When you contact Dallas limousine rental firms, they're going to ask you how many passengers will be transported. One reason they do so is because most firms offer several options in vehicles.

A Lincoln Town Car, for example, is a very popular limousine option. It can hold up to four passengers comfortably, and will probably be the least expensive car service vehicle offered. On the other hand, stepping up to a luxury vehicle such as a Lexus sedan would also work for as many as four passengers, but cost you a little more money.

Most Dallas limousine rental firms will make available a full range of vehicles, all the way up to mini-bus service for as many as thirty one passengers. In between, rates for vehicles such as stretch Hummers, Escalades and limousines will be quoted if you're working with a quality limousine rental company.

Services Provided: Something else that has a big impact on how much your Dallas limousine service charges for each trip is the level of services provided. You may, for example, rent a limo bus equipped as a "rolling party." These vehicles offer strobe lights, surround sound and more to make your group's trip exciting. It makes sense that those extra attractions would cost a bit more than standard passenger bus rental.

Other popular add-on services are hourly or transfer services for your group, nationwide limousine transportation and even Christmas light tours. When calling to schedule Dallas limo rental, be sure to ask for a complete quote that includes rates charged for extra services.

Rental Date: One more way limousine rental rates can vary is by the date limousine service is required. Most limousine rental firms offer a discount during the week and charge their standard fare on weekends, when demand is high.

The three factors we've mentioned in detail each have an impact on the rate you are charged for Dallas limousine service. Plan your outing and then ask questions about services, types of vehicles and daily rates when scheduling a limousine rental. By knowing in advance the variables that might change what you're charged, you can order the most affordable limousine rental for your needs.

Five Top Traits of a Professional Limousine Service

If you haven't used a Dallas limousine service before, you may not know there's a wide range in the quality of service provided. To help you avoid frustration and disappointment, here's our list of the five top traits to look for in a professional limousine service.

No. 1: Transparency
When working with a professional Dallas limo rental service, your experience should be "What you see is what you get" instead of "Surprise!" A professional limousine service tells you up-front how much your service will cost and what you can expect to happen. If they won't answer your questions, don't waste time renting a Dallas limo from them.

No. #2: Dependability
Your limousine service should arrive on time and get you where you need to go on schedule. When you let them know your schedule requirements, they should plan a pick-up time that leaves wiggle room in case traffic or weather slows you down.

Dallas limousine service drivers know to expect heavy traffic on freeways, city streets and especially at DFW Airport. The professional ones know the area well and don't waste your time looking for an address. They get you where you need to be, no matter what. Look for a service with a reputation for promptness and dependability.

No. 3: Friendliness
A truly professional Dallas limousine rental company presents a friendly face from the reservation line to the limo driver. Honestly, why would you waste your time and money working with a limo service that snarls?

A great limo service staff knows that you, the client, are the reason they're in business. They know that by providing helpful, friendly service, they're increasing the odds that you'll be back. They offer suggestions, answer your questions and make you glad you did business with them.

No. 4: Safety
Could anything be scarier than a Dallas limo driver fiddling with the GPS while navigating the High Five? Those swoops and swirls of ramps and exits require strict attention, not someone talking on their cell phone. Anyone who drives the Dallas freeway system soon learns that our highways aren't for sissies! It takes a calm, competent limo driver to navigate the congested confusion of Dallas metro traffic, so be sure to look for a limo service that advertises a great safety rating.

No. 5: Affordability
What we've talked about so far may sound like a tall order to fill, but the truly great Dallas limo services can deliver. And, to top it off, they can deliver that level of service at an affordable price.

One way your limousine service can keep the cost of limo rental down is by offering their clients specials on select services. Maybe they give a discount to new customers, or offer specialty vehicles like limo buses at a reduced rate.

No matter what service you require, a great Dallas limousine service will suggest alternatives to keep it within budget. Don't be afraid to ask how to keep the cost down when you call to make your reservations.

There's Dallas limousine service, and then there's top-quality, professional Dallas limo service. Don't settle for sub-standard limousine rentals. With the Five Top Traits of a Professional Limousine Service in mind, you're ready to start shopping. Your prize will be dependable, safe, and affordable Dallas limousine service.

Finding a Limo for a Wedding

While planning my wedding, a friend suggested my fiancé and I rent a limo for our big day. I told her that I did not think that our wedding budget would allow such a splurge. She assured me that renting a Dallas limo service was very affordable. I did a little research and found out the she was right. Now my fiancé and I could leave the church in a limousine.

I ran the idea past my fiancé about renting a limousine for our wedding day. He thought that this was a great idea, but was not sure we could afford it. I explained how reasonable it was to rent a car from
Allen limo. Once he went over the budget numbers, he told me that I was right, there was enough money left over to rent a limousine.

I was very excited to ride to the reception in style and could not wait to tell our wedding party. The only problem now was deciding on which limousine to rent. With so many choices available to my fiancé and I, it was hard to choose.!

The limousine that my fiancé and I chose was black and could hold eight to ten passengers. The limousine came with a TV, DVD player, neon lights, mirrored ceiling, wet bar and a private partition. It even had five doors. With having the extra door, it made it easier for our wedding party to get in and out of the
Dallas limo. My fiancé also reminded me that since the limo had so much room in it, that my wedding dress would not take up half of the seats.

When our wedding day arrived, the limousine was right on time to pick us up at the church. We were all impressed with how spacious the car was and how polite the chauffer was. Our wedding party was also impressed on all the extras that the limousine had, even down to the neon lights.

Since using a
Dallas limousine service, we cannot recommend it more to our other friends that are in the process of planning their weddings. And of course they say the same thing that I did at first, that they do not think that they can afford a limousine for their special day. Once they see the rental fee and the wonderful fleet that is available in many different price ranges, they thank us over and over again.
